#19 Phoenix Rises

Hey Armorers!

It's Ska again bringing you a goodie from TS-Creations.

This lovely armor is called Phoenix Armor.

Without further a do let's get to it.

As you can see the bright wings shimmer with the fire of a phoenix.

It also includes a spellfire scripted Scythe with the same shimmering flames ascetic.

They wings flap as you fly to fit properly with your movement.

All these features give it that great airborne look especially when 

combined with the shape and skin that come with the armor.

But you can still lose the wings from the armor and use your 

standard shape and skin for a very knightly look as well.

The armors and weapons at TS-Creations are on their way to full mesh.

This will allow for massive LI drop making lag much less and allowing for more use of their armor and weapons in tournaments and other events where one might need armor and weapons and little lag.

As with all of TS-Creations Weaponry the scythe functions in mousedown only 

so if your a mouse click combatant there will be a learning curve but otherwise it's pretty simple.

#18 Drake Hunted

Hey there armorers!

I bring you a new release from EC-Eleran Crafts.

Without further a due I present Drake Hunter!

This lovely set of armor comes with Lola Tango Appliers for all you Busty Lady's of the sword and looks great whether your fighting dragons or just riding off into the sunset on your chopper.

It comes in a range of colors including Red, Blue, Green, Pink and Purple.

The armor is made almost entirely of sculpts and is copy mod for easy adjusting to any body shape.

#17 Warrior Lady Emerges from Darkness

Greetings Armorers, It's your favorite blogger Ska

 here with a new item from SG Designs.

This time I bring you Dark Warrior.

This lovely armor comes in both male and female versions.

For the sake of simplicity,

 I will just be showcasing the Female one here.

As you can see above and below it is 

beautifully crafted not missing a single detail.

The hood and mask covering much of the face as anyone knows

 an assassin and a thief must keep their identity secret.

There is also a spaulder on the right shoulder 

buckled down with all the proper straps.

I also noticed while taking the photos 

that there appears to be a pair of manacles 

that were broken off one on each wrist 

which I think is a lovely little detail option.

Also the lower skirt is split down the middle perfect

 for those that need to get on and off a horse quickly.

Overall I believe it would make a lovely addition to any assassin or thief's wardrobe or if your just a lady who enjoys dark things like moonlight strolls down dark roads with skeletons.

As I said this outfit is available at SG Designs

#16 Chaos Armors Descend

Alright weapons master and armorers I know it's been 

awhile since I posted but it was worth the wait.

I now present to you a lovely Set of Armor from TS Creations.

The TSC Chaos Armor !

This amazingly intricate armor comes in four 

different colors that any collector will just love.

All of them come with a similar design but 

each is unique with the color really defining it's ascetic.

As you can see above there is the original 

in a stunning black with lovely red and gold accents.

Below you will see the white version pure and crisp 

with breath taking gold highlights and black low lights.

Each set of this armor comes with a wicked 

two hand sword scripted on the spellfire system that includes 

an easy to use sheath and draw HUD.

As well as glowing smoldering eyes of fire 

that just scream back the truck up.

They also include a custom shape and skin to fit the armor perfectly.

As you can see these armors just continue to 

make your eyes want to pop out of your head.

No matter what color you choose your sure to 

make all the other armor wearers green with envy.

(Green is not a color option for this armor at this time.)

Above you can see how the sheen of the Golden armor stuns 

with it's very basic white and black accents 

making the gold all the more visible.

Below you can see the purely evil look of the black armor 

with it's accents of rusted and decaying metal.

Clearly sending a message to all that this is one seriously bad dude.

Black is also the newest color released for this armor and 

has been one of the most requested since this armor was released.

#15 Ninja Girl!

Hey Everybody another New item from our primary sponser SG Designs.

 

 

This amazing outfit comes with weapons and is made entirely of Mesh components.

Featuring a Mask and arm and shin gaurds as well as

a sexy top and pants that expose all the right stuff in all the right places.

 

The only problem I have noted with this outfit is that it does not fit any avatar in fact it appears to not fit most avatar shapes. it took me several attempts at shapes till I found a shape that fit it even this closely. It still had several alpha layer holes in my avatar still visible near the mesh.

 



 

It also comes with large Ninja blades that look amazing on such a scantily clad ninja girl.

They come with a HUD for both Male and Females that have a full AO capability as well as draw and sheath buttons. It also comes the handy quick key gestures so as to not need the HUD.

They have been tested and shown to do 15% Sword damage on the GM Meter.

 

 

As with all SG Designs Melee weapons these are scripted for mousedown attack movements and should only be used as such.I don't recomend you using them if you have no experience with mousedown weaponry as you will most likely have a great deal of trouble using them.

 

 

 This fine outfit can be found at SG Designs on the second floor near the staircase to the third floor.

It costs a resonable 799L$ and will make a great adition to your armory.

#14 Tokushi Invasion!

I've decided since my main sponser has been releasing some full mesh avatars I might as well expand in that direction so today I bring you the Tokushi Photo Synthetic Alien avatar.

 

 

Tokushi makes a great number of full mesh avatars and I figured

they would be a great addition to my blog on this front.

 

Today I will bring you the full mesh Photosynthetic alien.

This avatar is copy and mod and the shape that comes with it in full perm.

 

 

 

The shape when modified has been shown to change the look of the avatar making

it large or small depending on what is done to the base shape.

I strongly recommend making copies of the orginals and modifing the copies

so that way you do not destroy your original.

 

I love to add a low shine to it making it look slightly slimey and add a small color tint to it as well.

I have made a large shape as tall as most human avatars in SL

as well as a cute tiny avatar form of it so that it looks super adorable.

 

 

It does well with most animations made for Second Life avatars with very few needing modification.

For the sake of not confusing anyone I have taken these pictures using the base avatar and shape.



#013 Invictus we trust

Another item from a new store this one comes from the White Armory.

 

This is a two handed sword sporting Elven lettering along the blade.

The detail on the blade and sheath is amazingly well done given you a truely elven feel.

 

This Sword also comes with a display case to mount on your wall.

Making it a great buy for any elven royal or high warrior.

 

 

The sword works on the SF, SZ, and GM meters.

It has been shown to do 15% Sword damage on the GM meter.

 

It also comes with a Hud to turn off and on sound blood splatters and to change meters it does damage on as well as to switch between mouse click and mouse down combat modes.

 

All the options in the HUD are also included as hotkey gestures.

#012 Oil Bombs Away

Hey there people today I bring you an item from Primus.

 

I've encountered many people who don't know alot about this item and how it works and thus it's become horribly misunderstood and in fact banned on many Gorean sims I'm hoping to change all that with this post and demonstrate how well Primus did with taking something that coulda become massively overpowered and making it just right for any environment.

 

 

So without any further ado I give you the Primus Throwing oil bombs.

These bombs come in a large pack for their sheath filled with oil and bombs.

Once drawn the bomb takes thirty seconds to fill to full before it can be thrown.

 

 

Once it is fully ready it will shout in local that you have finished filling your bomb this will give people plenty of warning to duck and cover if they don't want to be turned into a match stick.

 

They of course need to be thrown from mouselook and once thrown take another thirty second to rearm this is also about how long the fire from the bombs lasts so by the time your next bomb is ready the previous one will have been extinguished.

 

 

Now for the information you really want.

These bombs do 20% damage on a direct hit and the fire that forms after a

hit to ground will do trap damage usually between 7% and 20%

This damage is purely on the GM meter and given the fires brightness makes it more then acceptable.

#011 The Great Knight always has a Sword

Hurray a New Group Gift from SG Designs!

 

This little number is called the Great Knight Sword.

It's a nice little broadsword made entirely of mesh.

Looks great with just about any medieval fantasy character

or any Gorean that is need of a new piece of weaponry.

 

This sword not only pleasent to look at and historically accurate in design it is also quite deadly.

Boasting a 15% sword damage on the Gorean Meter.

The testing done on other meters showed no damage.

It also comes with one of those lovely HUDs to sheath and draw it easily.

As well as hotkey gestures.

This weapon uses mouse down controls so if your not used to

that method of combat be prepared for a learning curve.

Post #009 Arcane Forge Darastrix Elignear

Hey Everyone a new item from Arcane Forge.

It is a lovely sword called Darastrix Elignear.

Something about this sword reminds me of Soul Edge from Soul Caliber.

 

 

As with all Arcane Forge weapons this one is only able to deal damage via an LCK HUD.

It comes equiped with the unsheathe and sheath commands set on channel 69 as off and on.

Otherwise it is realitively unscripted thus making for a very low lag low script weapon.

 

 

This item makes a great addition to you arsenal if for

no other reason then it's amazing look and design.

It is definately a fine example of a longsword.

With a beautiful crystal hilt and gaurd to perfectly accent the cold stell blade.

#010 Arcane Forge Apocrypha

Hey Armorers we got another new weapon for your Armory.

Today I bring you the Apocrypha from Arcane Forge.

 

The Apocrypha is a wonderful item the sheath looking

like it's name but when unsheathed it becomes

a wizard's staff with the apocrypha at it's tip.

 

 

 

The Apocrypha is unscripted other then the sheath unsheath command

which is done via a simple on and off on channel 71.

It does do damage on the LKS meter with a HUD available for free at the Arcane Forge mainstore.

 

 

The HUD features all the details for combat you need from animations

 to sounds and the different types of damage.

I recomend this for anyone who wishes to rp as a wizard or sorceror or even as a necromancer.

 



 

The Skull and skeletal details are amazing on this item and

I can't wait to see what else Arcane Gro'Mo'Lag comes out with next.

Post #008 Vampire Sword

Here it is another weapon from SG Designs.

 

This time we bring you their Vampire Sword.

This sword features a blood red glow and a black blade and hilt.

This sword has a very Katana-esque feel to it and

will definately be a valued asset to any bad guy arsenal.

 

 

It has been shown to do that standard 15% damage on the GM and did not appear to work on DCS2.

It's range is also the standard two meters.

It currently sells for 450 L$ In the main store.

You can find them on the second floor next to the

left hand stair case when facing toward the Lucky and Mania Boards.

Sci-Borg

A new Item from our key sponsor SG Designs.

 

This new armor from SG Designs is called Ciborg and it's great for any Sci-fi RP.

Whether your there to assimilate people into the Borg collective or your just trying to eek out a living in the outer rim this is a great addition to your Sci-Fi wardrobe.

Archangels Fall Hard

Today I'm bringing you a free armor from TS Creations.

This is their latest group gift a wonderful armor complete with

shape, weapons and wings during flight.

So without further ado I present TSC Fallen ArchAngel Black.

 

 

This lovely set of armor is solid black with

a very clear dark demonic motif.

It comes with a shape for easy fitting but is also

copy mod so that you may resize as needed.

It also includes a set of black feathered wings which

only appear when one is in flight.

The twin broadswords brandished in the above photo glow

a demonic red and although they deal no damage in any combat meter

do give a large airborne push equivalent to a kicker HUD.

This also comes with a handy HUD to draw and sheath the sword

as well as those quick gestures that we all love so much.

It is pretty much only built for a male avi but the swords by

themselves could provide countless hours of fun for any gender.



A Green Day for Daggers

Another great item from our main sponser SG Designs.

 

This time I bring you an item available in their Gatcha the Green Day Daggers.

These are lovely little numbers that fit any sort of combat situation from medieval fantasy rp to punk rockers hanging out and getting into bar room brawls.

 

 

 

These Daggers boast the ability to deal damage on the GM meter.

 

It has a decent range and arc sporting a 2 meter arc of damage in front of your character as you swing it. It's shown to deal  a decent 15% Sword damage in GM.

SG Groupies Get Mesh Gifties

Someone has been burning the midnight oil with these new group gifts from SG Designs.

 

 

 

These lovely new gifts are being posted along with their old one the Demon Hammer.

 

Let's start with the female group gift.

It's a very high detail full mesh set of armor that includes gloves and a helmet.

It does not include boots so you will have to find some for yourself.

For this post I used some boots from another set of armor that is much more modern ytbb.

The helmet also does not have much room for hair under it and being a fixed mesh does not allow for you to reposition it and it is slightly off center it is uncertain if this is by design or if this is a flaw but it does make it so that you can see into the side of the helmet.

 

 

Now then on to the Demon Hammer it is an elegantly made

Full Mesh hammer that really looks to fit it's name.

It deals the usual 15% damage at the usual range of 20M in the GM meter.

Although it is advertised as being able to deal damage on DCS2 numerous swings at someone wearing one prooved to deal no damage.

 



And finally we have the Male group gift it is a full mesh Angel Warrior.

The wingspan is massive on this avatar as I tried to illistrate with this picture.

The detail is again amazing the only thing that seemed slightly off is that where

the wings join there are two alph holes in the mesh body

that will look like holes going straight through

you when viewed from the right angle.

 

All in all they are lovely high detail items but as with all things that come free

you should be prepared for some flaws sometimes minor sometimes major.



Assasin Crossbow

Another amazing weapon from our main sponsor SG Designs.

This lovely crossbow just speaks magnitudes to it's accurate portrail of Medieval weaponry.

Revenge of the Bloody Axe

So Today I have a lovely little murdering instrument from the mind of SandraG the owner of SG designs. This item has been on her Midnight mania board at the SG Designs Mainstore for about the past month and tonight she will be switching it out for a new one so it's your last chance to get it.

 

It's called the Revange Bloody Axe and man is it a beastly little toy.

As you can see below it's large and incharge.

 

 

This axe is full mesh and comes with all the extras including a HUD for both male and female wielders, and the quick draw and sheath gestures that so many people love.

 

It works on at least two of the biggest meters used in SL DCS and GM. Unfortunately I don't own a spellfire HUD at this time else I could test it on that too.

 

It has a decent range and arc sporting a 2 meter arc of damage in front of your character as you swing it. It's shown to deal between 50-60 Damage in DCS and a decent 15% Sword damage in GM.

 

Hands down this is the biggest working axe I've wielded yet and looks lovely as you swing it around smashing anyone who dares to get in your way.

 

 

Lie On This and Die

This is a lovely free set of armor available from the freebie wing of Lapointe and Bastechild.

It features full prims for each individual piece and has nice underlayers to cover anywhere that the prims don't. It also comes with a Katana and is actually sold as a full avi but the pieces of armor are each individually resize scripted so that you may make them fit anyone you want.

It also has a male version that is Called Lion. I have infact tested the durability of it's resize scripting and have found you can shrink down small enough to fit a child avatar if you so desired.

The only thing not resizable regrettably is the Katana as it is no Mod.

Otherwise it's a wonderful set of Armor and looks great on any fantasy Rp sim.
